Make A Submission To The Planning Review
On August 5, 2022, Planning Minister, Nick Champion, announced a review into the planning system.
The Planning System Implementation Review will be exploring issues regarding:
- The Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016
- The Planning and Design Code and related instruments, as it relates to infill policy, trees, character, heritage and car parking
- The ePlanning system, to ensure it is delivering an efficient and user-friendly process and platform
- The PlanSA website, to check usability and ease of community access to information
This review is a huge opportunity for the community to advocate for reforms that will strengthen protections for heritage and properties and areas; stronger protections for our urban trees; and for a planning system that is more accessible, open, and user-friendly.
This is our opportunity to reverse some of the damaging changes of the last several years.
