    yes

  2. What role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
    a big role. need to look at all aspects of the property. we need to keep our heritage as much as possible.

  3. How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
    a heritage committee from council should oversea all heritage properties. looking at how tasmania look after heritage properties would be good. they have so many

  4. We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
    this would help with keeping our heritage intact. currently to easy to knock over buildings.

  5. How has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
    i would like to see buildings looked at fully before any descision is made. we have a building on a land development at gawler belt now that should be made to stay.

  7. Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
    incentives would help.

    flyer sent out with rates notice. maybe email people from area. post on council web page.

    no

    should be refereed to council.

    traffic increasing with new developments.
