    Yes

  2. What role should Councils play in protecting local heritage places from demolition or inappropriate development?
    Consult with residents

  3. How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
    Seek residents opinions on the matter and take it to council if affirmative action requested

  4. We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
    Councils want to hedge their bets and keep sell off of assets an option Conserve the local historical character

  5. How has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
    A medium density housing zone has been declared in my suburb, and although no properties of historical significance have been demolished cars are out on the road now, where five properties now exist when only one existed before

  6. What are the impacts of infill development in your area? What changes would you seek in the rules around infill development?
    See above. I am against concentration of population in smaller areas

  7. Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
    The only way to encourage renovation would be by punitive action or financial stimulation neither of which are ethical in my opinion

  8. How should the community be informed and involved in decisions about new developments?
    Full consultation and councillors able to give residents a voice in council

  9. Do you think there is adequate tree canopy across your local government area?
    No


  11. What involvement should Councils have in decisions about protecting or removing significant and regulated trees?
    Make new rules

  12. What actions would you advocate to slow or mitigate the impacts of climate change in your local government area?
    This has nothing to do with local heritage

  13. What issues are there with traffic and parking in your area?
    Too many cars are parking on the road and traffic levels are rising and causing backups locally

  14. How could transport options be improved in your area?
    Widen bridges

  15. What would your top three priorities be for improving planning policy and outcomes in your local government area?
    Full consultation with residents able to object
    Bring planning back to local level not state
    Council return to local authority and become apolitical
