Seek to work with all stakeholders, lobby and work with State government to amend legislation in identifying places and in favour of protecting places.We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
Improve aesthetics, adds charm , character revitalise, powerful connections with different generations, economic benefits, cheaper, less wasteHow has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
Changes has led to reduced powers and thus consultation rendered useless. I would advocate and work with council to to lobby State government to change the act and code. Thus seek to expand areas that can be listed as protected.What are the impacts of infill development in your area? What changes would you seek in the rules around infill development?
Im worried about emergency access. I would advocate for a balance in risk factors. Give consideration to environmental urban and community safety, access for emergency services and adequate street parking for example is important . Advocate and factor in wildfire or climate disaster management and thus review building codes. Maintain and increase tree canopy, help to maintain and restore wild life and green corridors, rivers, health and wellbeing spaces. Cooling is going to be more important in our future. Advocate to reduce energy use and costs. Encourage retrofitting, recycling. Highlight importance of green spaces for cooling, Insulation, eves, cool light coloured roof.Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?

In a genuine and meaningful way that is seen to respect and ensure ordinary people have a voice in big decisions about local issues. That decisions genuinely reflect community voices are heard and not ignored.Do you think there is adequate tree canopy across your local government area?
In some areas yes. Certainly not in all places and not enough in most areas. A plant is warming. More trees are need to to help cool, reduce heat in our urban and community spaces . As a health professional I understand the serious and dangerous impact heat is already having on the health and wellbeing of our community. Especially those vulnerable and marginalised. Those living in low socio-economic areas in my Ward.How would you like to see significant and regulated trees in your area protected from removal?
Protect by Promotion of the historic and local connection and benefits of for example, a Community environment groups and council programs like the one in Willunga and neighbouring towns that highlight a tree trail with stories about the trees.What involvement should Councils have in decisions about protecting or removing significant and regulated trees?
I believe promotion of protecting is more important. All plants, flora and fauna play a big role and impact on public health and wellbeing generally.What actions would you advocate to slow or mitigate the impacts of climate change in your local government area?

Safety issues for , pedestrians, cyclists, domestic and native animals re high Speed limit on street , multiple S bends in rd and no verge or footpaths.How could transport options be improved in your area?
A regular service of Public bus in immediate local area. Other areas in my Ward could be improved and I support an extension for a train line.What would your top three priorities be for improving planning policy and outcomes in your local government area?
Advocate for genuine and meaningful consultation, give ordinary people more of a say
