Council's should be the custodians of local heritage. The areas of heritage that have a wider focus should be the responsibility of the State or Federal Government.How would you seek to improve protections for heritage places in your area?
I would encourage an audit of heritage and an accessment of their needs.We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?

Infill needs to be considered in the context of the wider community to ensure that you are not over stretching local infrustructure.Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?

I would like to see appropriate trees protected. Some protected trees are not appropriate to have been planted in their location and needs to be removed and replaced with an appropriate species.What involvement should Councils have in decisions about protecting or removing significant and regulated trees?

I think my council has a good track record on climate change and would continue that legacy.What issues are there with traffic and parking in your area?
