Council reviews its heritage list. By empowering community stakeholders it gives community input. Our state also has responsibility in educating youth by including heritage and history of the state in schools curriculumsWe rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Community consultation and the opportunity of impacting decisions particularly against developers whom only have regard to profit than the loss to current and future generations. Too much unsustainable infill. It needs better housing quality that fits the needs of buyers and lifestyles and not impact existing residentsConstruction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials.
