  4. We rarely see new places added to local heritage listings. Why do you think this is?
    New places are rarely added because most people don't pay attention to history anymore, and it is unlikely that people are aware of the process. additional heritage listing can let us look back to what we have had in the past and reduce the amount of trend towards "newness" that might not work

  5. How has the Planning and Design Code impacted on the heritage, amenity, and environment of your area? What changes would you seek to the Code?
    I am not familiar with the contents of the code so i cannot comment

  6. What are the impacts of infill development in your area? What changes would you seek in the rules around infill development?
    I don't believe there has been much in my area , and i am not familiar with the current rules

  7. Construction of new housing typically uses 30% labour and 70% materials. Renovation of existing housing stock typically uses 70% labour and 30% materials. What policy changes would you like to see made to encourage people to renovate, rather than demolish and build anew?
    A process that forces upgrades of buildings before the structure reaches the point that renovation is not possible.
