Heritage survey responses.

1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
   I believe council has a big part to play in advocating the preservation and protection of heritage.

2. What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
   I support listing heritage for protection and am currently a member of the Aurora Heritage Action Inc., which aims to get heritage buildings listed by the state government.

3. What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
   There have been heritage issues previously in my ward but at the moment the Angle Vale Bridge over the Gawler River needs some TLC. The Lions Club of Angle Vale, which I am a member of, are trying to raise money to bring back the bridge to its former glory.

4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
   Been a staunch supporter of protecting heritage I will work with the community to protect and conserve heritage in the area.

5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
   Councils are the lowest level of government and hence know the community best, hopefully this enables councils to make better decisions regarding developments.

6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
