I believe that councils should have policies and procedures in place to protect and conserve local heritage within their council boundaries.What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
The most significant heritage issue within Campbelltown city Council is most probably the Restoration of Lochend house. Lechend is the original home of Charles James Fox Campbell, after whom Campbelltown is named. Lochend was considered significant because of its representation of its market gardening history and its links to an early South Australian pastoralist.What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
I believe it is important to protect and conserve buildings and sites of cultural and heritage significance. If elected I will support policies and programs that protect and conserve heritage in the Campbelltown area.Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
