1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
   Our heritage established who we are and where we come from which sets an important focus in determining our future. Heritage is foundation of our society.

2. What measures and incentives do you support to protect and conserve local heritage?
   To continue to identify local heritage and set policy for its protection and preservation.

3. What is the most important heritage protection issue in your local government area?
   The establishment of world Heritage listing.

4. What policies and programs will you advocate to protect and conserve heritage in your local area?
   Protection of local heritage listing and the development of new policies taking into account of ongoing reviews.

5. Do you support local Councils retaining development approval powers for projects over $3m in value?
   Yes only the local community is in the best position to know and understand the importance and impact of not consider local heritage issues in association with development.

6. Do you have any other thoughts about the protection of heritage in your Council area?
   Local heritage is important to be undertaken in consultation with the community based on sound research and understanding of local knowledge and experiences.
