1. What do you think Council's role is in protecting and conserving heritage?
   I support progress that balances development with care for people and our environment, is sustainable and leaves a legacy we can be proud. I believe it is very important that we protect and conserve our natural and cultural heritage for ourselves and for future generations to enjoy and I believe Councils have a role in providing leadership in their communities on this issue. I have a general understanding of the work of the National Trust of South Australia and if elected commit to working with the Trust to protect and conserve the local heritage of Mount Gambier and surrounding regions.
